Celebrate at CIH Housing 2012
In celebration of The
Queen's Diamond Jubilee, vacant property
protection specialist SitexOrbis is to host a few royal guests - The Queen,
William and Kate (or rather their very convincing lookalikes) at the Housing 2012 conference and exhibition in Manchester from
12 – 14 June 2012
Recognising the notion that
“your home is your castle”, SitexOrbis has been providing innovative void
security solutions and integrated property services to clients in the social
and private housing sectors for over 25 years.
The company has transformed
social landlords’ approach to void management, ensuring that voids are turned
around quicker than ever before. This means that waiting lists can be reduced
and people re-homed faster and in a better standard of housing.
Over the past two years the
company’s innovative approach and products, combined with strong customer
service has been recognised with 13 awards, including the Most Innovative New Product of the Year 2012 from Housing Innovation Awards.
The castle shaped stand in
the main exhibition hall will promote iSecurity, the latest in security
innovation, which combines iTRAP, a portable, intelligent alarm with iDOOR, an
innovative keyless, remotely programmable access management system. This exclusive
security system gives the social housing landlord complete peace of mind that
their properties are secured and monitored 24/7 by a BS5979 Cat II Alarm
Receiving Centre (ARC). It was launched
in response to the growing sophistication of today’s thieves.
Delegates can also learn about
SitexOrbis’ Videofied solution, which recently saved Liverpool
social housing provider, One Vision Housing, an estimated £1 million by preventing the theft of
boilers from its empty properties. Theft attempts have fallen from at least two per week to zero, equating to about £1 million
over four years following the arrest of several intruders who broke into an empty property containing a SitexOrbis Videofied
portable intruder alarm with a visual verification camera.
SitexOrbis’ eMAKS access
system solution, an efficiency boosting key that opens up to 6,000 locks and
has won multiple awards, will also be showcased. Central to eMAKS
(Electronically Managed Access Key Systems) is an electronic key that can be
continually reprogrammed remotely to control access to a multitude of
properties.. Access reports are provided for health and safety and invoicing,
and the travel and administration associated with key collections are
eliminated.
SitexOrbis’ innovative solutions are backed by Aura, a real-time web-based workflow management
and reporting system enabling customers to instruct, control and track progress of all jobs undertaken by their contractors. The
technology delivers vast data across the breadth of SitexOrbis’ product offering
with comprehensive search technologies, mapping functions, trend analysis and
report printing capabilities. Clients simply log on and access information at
the click of a mouse. It also provides a full audit trail.
SitexOrbis will enjoy an
involved role at this year’s conference both hosting an evening of dinner,
drinks and comedy as part of the first evening’s entertainment and sponsoring the
CIH Engage and Connect event,
attended by over 200 senior housing professionals including the Housing
Minister on the 13th June.

stand D34 at the CIH Housing 2012 exhibition in Manchester from 12-14 June 2012
